Know Before You Go: Motorsports COVID-19 Edition
As the country reopens, motorsports resumes and race teams hit the road for the summer season it is more important than ever to brush up on your health and hygiene understanding.
Performance Tech Motorsports entrusts its education and cleanliness to VB Enviro Care which begins its involvement with the team at the Cadillac Grand Prix at Sebring International Raceway, July 16-18. VB Enviro Care is a cutting-edge sterilization company that offers pharmaceutical grade healthcare disinfectants for where people work, live and play. Together Performance Tech and VB Enviro Care will organize a safer environment not only through the use of the sterilization processes but by educating teams and fans on key terminology used in the process of killing pathogens (viruses and bacteria).
Most people have likely heard local businesses boast new and improved sanitation procedures. It is important to note that in terms of pathogens sanitation is useless. When something is sanitized it is cleaned for appearance's sake. Businesses sanitize in the same way you tidy your home before guests arrive.
Disinfection is a term you most often hear in the medical industry. It is also the term you should search for when investigating safe shops, restaurants or hotels whilst on the road. Disinfection destroys and kills 99.9999% of viruses and bacteria including COVID-19 creating a healthier quality of life. VB Enviro Care services and products all disinfect rather than sanitize, creating zones of safe air and surfaces.
VB Enviro Care redesigned clinically tested and proven technologies used in hospitals and the pharmaceutical field for the cleaning and disinfecting industry. Performance Tech Motorsports takes advantage of VB Enviros Care’s SteraMist service as well as its Novaerus products at its headquarters and at-track to create a sterilized oasis for its drivers and crew. The team resumes the 2020 race season with a weekend at Sebring International Raceway. Due to COVID-19, the weekend features a condensed schedule and an allotted number of crew members per car. Each crew member is required to wear a mask once on site and cannot intermingle with other teams. With the close quarters at-track safety precautions beyond social distancing and masks must be put into place. VB Enviro Care offers the only solution to turning a hot zone of viruses and bacteria into a safe zone for each team.
